Rainbow Heart Series Original Acrylic Paintings by Carole Harston Inspired by the Scripture I Cor. 13:13 And now these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is Love. The Heart is a symbol of faith, hope and love.  The Rainbow is a symbol for these things, as well.  These paintings were created to inspire those feelings. I truly believe the greatest of these is Love and it is Love meant for all people everywhere to share.  I live by that scripture and that is what inspired this series of paintings that evolved over time.  In addition, I wanted to pay tribute to the Rainbow Sunday School Class of 1st United Methodist Church, Arlington, TX, of which I am member, for their abiding friendship and support throughout the years.  Rainbow Heart I (2012) 48 x 48; Donated to & hanging in the Children’s Wing of 1st UMC Arlington.  Commissioned by the Church, to create a painting to represent a scripture of my choice, for the Children’s Wing.  This painting was given as
