This steering gear box was engineered around the 2010 and newer Ram XD platform. Adapted to be a direct-fit installation, this gear box uses the factory pressure & return lines and OEM 36 spline pitman arm. To minimize excessive side-to-side deflection of the sector shaft, which is the main cause of "Dodge steering wander”, the lower bearing size has been increased from 35mm to 45mm.
