Wool bedding also repels dust mites and other allergens for hypoallergenic benefits.  The lightweight wool comforter is filled with batting that's hand-knotted about every nine inches and is perfect as a duvet, comforter cover, or on its own. Batting is a layer, or sheet, of wool that provides a stable filling that doesn't move inside the comforter.
