Jane Charles Villa Print

This is a reproduction of an oil painting by Jane B. Charles painted in 1984. The painting is a rendering of the Springmaid Villa beach house in its original setting on North Ocean Boulevard circa 1935 in Myrtle Beach. In 1983, the house was acquired by the Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild. It was then moved to its current location at 3100 South Ocean Boulevard in 1984 and is Myrtle Beach's first and only art museum. Prints of the Charles painting were originally sold to finance the move and the construction of a new foundation for the Art Museum. The original painting is housed in the Art Museum permanent collection.
