This crazy rooted lime tree is truly something exotic! When ripened, cut the fruit open to reveal the orb-like vesicles known as “citrus caviar.” The lime juice-filled pockets taste amazing fresh, on seafood, or in mixed drinks! This variety grows naturally in the tropical regions of Australia and is quite thorny. Although we only offer the standard green-colored fruit, there are over 20 different colors of limes within this variety, including purple!
