Olio Nuovo

Our first oil of the season is a year's worth of sunshine caught in a bottle. This is the real deal: fresh, unfiltered olive oil, straight from the mill. Alive with the scent of fresh olives and green fields, this is olive oil in its purest form: cloudy, vibrant, fleeting Enjoy it fresh, over anything that deserves a little celebration. This year is the fifth year in our artist series Olio Nuovo labels. This year's label comes from our close friend, Reno-based watercolor artist Makenzie Henry. The crows on this year's Olio Nuovo label were inspired by the many crows that frequent our orchard throughout the year, as well as a a pair of crows that have befriended Claire and I, and who regularly join us on morning walks with our dog, Rupert. Crows are among the species of birds that mate for life, and we've been friends with this particular pair for a few years now.
