A naive (maybe the first quilt made by a young girl?) heavy quilt using the Double T or Antique Queens Cross pattern. This red and white quilt uses cotton fabric from the 1930's - a red and white polka dot for the background fabric and a solid red and crisp white cotton fabric for the blocks. This quilt has been completely hand-sewn and hand-quilted and has a muslin backing - with a large pale yellow circle on the back - not sure if this is a stain or a marking on the fabric. The batting is heavy and a little lumpy - the overall feel of this quilt is something that was made to keep someone warm in the winter. A true quirky quilt if you love the unexpected! Measurements: 70"x82" Circa 1930's
