Spring Impasto Textures

Presenting Spring Impasto, a bold yet versatile hand-painted texture collection for photography and design.This collection has lively Spring colors and attitude for fresh designs, yet can also be used for very subtle effects applied to photographs.Spring Impasto was created by hand using professional artists acrylic paint on fine art paper. A combination of brushes and palette knives were used to build up layers of paint in an Impasto style. (“Impasto” is a method of painting where the paint is fairly thick and the brush strokes apparent.) The result is delicious plays of color and texture! The paintings were scanned on a professional scanner and carefully edited and optimized. The square versions are separately scanned selected areas of the 12 larger rectangular paintings. These were then lovingly and artistically edited for the square format.Black and White versions are also included for even greater versatility.
