Honduras - Josue Ontoniel Martinez - Washed

We’re excited to continue our partnership with Sean Warner and the team at the Honduran Coffee Alliance as we showcase coffees from Josué Martínez of Finca Las Delicias. Josué began his coffee journey in 2015 with 1.4 hectares of unused land and no capital—starting small when a friend lent him seedlings to plant just 0.25 hectares. That first plot became Finca Las Delicias. Since then, he’s grown with intention, believing specialty coffee demands more attention per hectare, and focusing on thoughtful farming and clean, consistent processing over rapid expansion. This washed lot highlights that approach with a cup that’s sweet, balanced, and incredibly approachable—layering honeyed aromatics with caramel depth and bright fruit character.
