Winter Tangle, Original Watercolor.

Signed FRAMED original painting. Notes From The Artist: A loose watercolor painting created "en plein air" while I was sitting in a field waist-high in weeds and rushes. Many of the trees in this wooded area had fallen during the winter. In early spring, when I was at one of the Cook County Forest Preserves areas in Niles, IL, they were sprawled on the ground. The sky was intensely blue as it popped through the little nooks and crannies in the abstract structure of the fallen trees. You will notice that this painting is not a rectangle -- it has wonky edges. That's because I freehand the border on my paintings.
