As well as being driven thousands of miles across North America to these events.  What is remarkable about the restoration of this car is that Gene lost an arm at an early age. Making it necessary for him to fabricate his own special tools to aid him in this beautiful precision restoration. Gene single-handedly restored and drove the car by himself.
