This exhibition was first held at the Indiana State University Gallery (October 29–November 14, 2003) and later at the Koplin Del Rio Gallery, Los Angeles (February 28–April 10, 2004). A tribute to the artistic talent and brilliance of Zhi Lin’s commanding visual statements, this catalogue examines the artist’s fusion of techniques and diverse cultural experiences. The social commentary of the artist’s paintings and the intensity of his compositions evoke the complexity of existence.
