World of Sports (1950 1Sh)

1950 Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster. Sports short documentary newsreel series narrated by Bill Stern, "Famous N.B.C. Sports announcer." This was a stock poster for the series of Columbia short subjects made in the 1930s and 1950s (Copyright 1940 Columbia Pictures Corp.). Columbia would print full-color stock posters with a large yellow rectangle in the center, and then overprint information for specific entries in the series in the yellow section. Size: 27" x 41" Condition: Good, some minor cross-fold separation, 2" tear bottom right, smudges, some minor staining, and corner pinholes.
