Bosch 0280140032 Mercedes REMAN Auxiliary Air Valve The auxiliary air valve increases idle speed when the engine is cold by allowing more air into the engine. It prevents the engine from stalling before it reaches its operating temperature, especially when the oil is thicker and combustion is less efficient.
