The Thales Multifinger Scanner DactyScan84c is an optical live fingerprint reader with large platen commonly used for ten print. The reader is capable to capture 4-slap and 2 thumbs fingerprints, allowing to collect all 10 fingerprints using 4+4+2 method. Also, the DactyScan84c can capture single rolled and flat fingerprints. PLEASE NOTE, INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS REQUIRE AN EXPORT LICENSE FROM THE STATE DEPARTMENT. THE APPLICATION PROCESS CAN LAST UP TO 45 DAYS. The device is certified by the FBI as compliant with FBI IAFIS IQS CJS-RS0010 (V7) Appendix F. Also it is compliant with ANSI/NIST-ITL-1-2000 and ISO/IEC 19794-4 standards. It also comes with a user interface based on 12 LEDs facilitates the acquisition procedure by indicating the fingerprint(s) to be acquired and providing quality feedback.
