Foal Indicator Strips

Knowing when a mare will foal is a great way to help prepare. There are several new technologies available but not many are as low-tech and simple to use as these little babies. The FullBucket pH Foal Indicator Strips  (FIS) provide a very clever way of determining how close your mare is to foaling. Contains 15 Strips. Directions for Use:Retrieve a small amount of milk from the mare in question. (Enough to wet the pH strip paper – usually a few drops) Tear off a small portion of paper (1 to 2 inches) and apply the milk directly to the paper.The paper will instantly change color. Compare the color on the paper to the color chart provided with the kit.
