Russel knife that became legendary with hunters and trappers. Even being issued to the Canadian armed forces in the 70's.The leaf shape of the blade and the angle of the handle lends it to being an incredibly comfortable knife in the hand while in use. The back of the spine has approximately 1" of file work jimping to help when applying thumb pressure for heavy cutting.This style is an outstanding design for the hunter, fisherman or for bushcrafting and general outdoor use.Hand forged as always in my Vermont blacksmith shop. Made from high carbon 5160 steel.
