This is a big tough knife made for heavy use. A long swedge on top of a deeply curved Bowie style blade makes for a  fast moving knife in the hand. The handle has deep finger grooves for solid positive indexing of the fingers and a non slip grip.  The handle wood comes from a special reserved piece of outstanding highly figured gunstock tiger maple. Attached with heavy duty "Loveless" Bolts along with a brass lanyard hole. This is an extremely versatile knife that can be used for hunting and bushcraft purposes as well.  Hand forged as always in my Vermont blacksmith shop. Made from a vintage 1095 high carbon horseshoe rasp. This steel in incredibly tough and takes and holds an incredible edge.   Approximately 11 3/4" overall length with a 6 3/8" long x 1 5/8" deep x 3/16" thick
