Special Edition, Old Pattern Woodsman Field Knife

 ****** Made to order *****  This is a special edition of my standard Old Pattern Woodsman Field Knife with added features.  Added features are....Carved handle, Lanyard hole and distinctive hand file work on the spine.   This knife is based on traditional style knives that were popular during the old West frontier and mountain men time in American history. It works perfectly now for camp use and general bushcrafting. Along with what they were originally intended for, processing meat and game in the field. The knife is approximately 9 7/8" long overall. Handle is 4 3/4" and the blade is about 5 1/8" long and 1 1/8" at its widest point. The blade is 1/8" thick full tang.    Made from 5160 high carbon steel that will hold an edge and is known for its toughness and durability.   The sheath is made from 9 oz leather that is double hand stitched with a full welt, waterproofed, signed and dated.     Each blade is forged from a single piece of high carbon steel.
