Colombia - Antonio Niño

We are excited to share with you a brand new coffee from the producer Antonio Niño. Don Antonio hails from the misty mountains of the Cundinamarca region of Colombia. He is a perfect example of a coffee producer that has been working on his craft for over 40 years, coffee production is truly in his blood and his hands show the signs of the hard work and dedication it takes to be successful in this profession. El Placer is situated at 1700 MASL, or roughly 5500 feet of elevation and stretches out over a compact 4 hectares (almost 10 acres), a very common size for a small holder in this area. The farm boasts over 12,000 coffee trees of Castillo, Colombia and Typica varieties. Don Antonio took over the farm a couple of years ago, it was the perfect opportunity for him to use his skill and knowledge in a new project.
