Art Class - Summer Art Studio Workshops 2025 - Ages 12 and Up
Summer Art Studio is ideal for the creation of an art portfolio as students prepare for college applications. All abilities are welcome whether for fun or for reaching academic goals. The weeks of June 16 and 23 will include two days per week of life drawing. This will be a drawing boot camp with a focus on the fundamentals of drawing skills. In July young students will practice drawing and oil painting each studio work-week. These are opportunities to concentrate in the studio with quality guidance to gain skills, experience and finished work. Students 12 and up are welcome. What Does Tuition Include? And What Do We Need To Buy? - Blog Summer Art Studio Workshops - College Portfolio Builder 5 Day Workshops Monday through Friday 1 to 5 pm $550 per week Summer Art Studio in June will include life drawing with a model and the model fee is included. We will work on the fundamental skills of life drawing mixed with finishing work from original photo references. June 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 2025 -$550 materials included , except brushes June 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 2025 - $550 materials included, except brushes July 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 2025 - $550 materials included, except brushes July 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 2025 - $550 materials included, except brushes July 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 2025 - $550 materials included, except brushes This is a drawing and painting intensive ranging from life drawing, master studies, still life and portraiture. Students who want to paint are encouraged to buy their own brushes and panels but all oil paint is provided. We paint solvent-free with "oil only" safe practices.
