Carnivorous Sarracenia Grower's Choice

  Sarracenia prefer wet to damp media, ensure there is a reservoir of water in dish at all times. Use distilled, rain or reverse osmosis water only. Perfect for terrariums and bog gardens. If allowed to dry out, the pitchers will start to brown and crisp. These plants also need high light, for best color place in full sun.   Water is drained prior to shipping, pitchers may develop dry edges. Fill a dish with water when you receive it, ensure you fill pitchers with a bit of water too. You can trim off the brown edges, but do not remove the entire pitchers as they will provide the plant with energy for new growth. New pitchers will develop quickly!
