This poster was produced in 2008, in conjunction with Cy Twombly: Three Notes from Salalah at Gagosian, Rome, which inaugurated the gallery on Via Francesco Crispi. With a title that invokes the seaside city of Salalah, Oman, the series of three expansive paintings that gave the exhibition its name features abstract calligraphic marks painted over a field of richly varied greens. This lithographic poster reproduces the title, location, and dates of the exhibition as written by the artist in his distinctive cursive script in indigo ink.
