She is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art, earning a BFA. After graduating, she founded the Graphic Workshop, an artist’s collaborative. This collaborative grew out of a group of artists and designers who initially formed the Student Strike Workshop and were renowned for their protest posters on various issues in the early 1970s. In 1975, the World Society for the Protection of Animals employed the Graphic Workshop to create posters for their organization.
