A one-of-a-kind oval tube shaped enamel brooch. The top of the oval tube is banded in red enamel with black and white enamel sgraffito in a horizontal pattern of repeating arches below. The tube is held by a gently arched, oxidized silver wire with one visible horizontal bar and legs that extend below the oval copper tube, and finished with a steel pin stem. Handmade by Tanya Crane. Brooch measures approximately 110 mm long and 25 mm wide, and weighs approximately 20 grams.
