July 22 Catch A Star, Intro to Crochet Camp

Our hands are made for good! Join us for a 3 hour camp filled with design play and crochet. Miss Monica will cover an introduction to crochet, chain stitch, and design inspiration to decorate your bedroom!  In this class students will be taught how to crochet a Star or Heart Garland for their room! The main focus will be on the stars because after attempting the project myself I realized Stars were the most straight forward. More advanced Crocheters can attempt the heart if they feel they want to try something more complex.  Beginner Friendly options Supplies Needed: 5.0mm Hook or 6mm Hook (either or both will do for this project), Yellow and Red Yarn. For the test project I used Crafters Secret Cotton Yarn. But any cotton yarn will do.  Note: I used a small Bundle of yarn and  had plenty left over so if each student had their own yarn skein it would work perfectly for this project.  Main Mission: Students will leave with the ability to create cute home decor!
