Replacing the transmission brace on your E46 should not be a repeated occurrence. Replace it once, and never worry about it breaking again, with our fully laser cut, precision bent, and TIG welded units made in-house in Westminster, CA, this is your reality. This is also the correct transmission brace for the popular 5-speed conversion on E46 M3 track cars, which is about 38 lbs lighter than the factory 6-speed transmission. With the same gearing internally (1st through 5th), there is no need for 6th gear (overdrive) at the track.
