Two Keys Olive Oil Soap

These Palestinian olive oil soaps are from Nablus, a city that has continuously produced pure olive oil soap for the past thousand years. Nablus soap is still made in the traditional way, from three ingredients--virgin olive oil, water, and lye. Cooked slowly on high heat for a week, the soap is then hand cut, stacked, and dried for up to 8 months. The Two Keys imprint is made in the historic Touqan family workshop in Nablus. Their original factory, as well as their family company, is more than 800 years old and a famous institution of Palestine.
