Ponderosa tomatoes are extra large size (Lycopersicon Esculentum) that produce pink-red beefsteak tomatoes, some weighing up to 1 - 2 lbs. Pink Tomato Ponderosa are sweet, meaty, juicy and almost seedless. The rich and meaty flesh, thick and delicious, is great for slicing and canning. Vines are indeterminate growers.
