This listing is for a package of 100+ Excelsior Mix Digitalis seeds. AKA Digitalis purpurea. AKA foxglove. Biennial. Sun/part shade.  **second year blooming** can be fall sown for blooms late in the following spring. Follow cool flower recommendations. The mix has a lovely palette of blooms in shades of pink, lavender, yellow and white. This variety has exceptional blooms that are fuller than the typical foxglove. Seed can be sown up to 10 weeks before your regions last frost date. Surface sow seed as light aids in germination. Bottom water or mist to keep moist as to not disrupt seed. Harden off and transplant outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Can be direct sown outdoors in areas with long growing seasons. Sow once soil can be worked and soil has warmed. Soil temperatures of 65° needed. Surface sow and keep moist. First season is to establish plants.
