This listing is for a package of 40 Bells of Ireland seed. AKA Moluccella Laevis. AKA Shellflower. Annual. Full sun preferred. Long spikes of bright apple-green blooms approximately 2". Perfect filler for fresh or dried floral arrangements. Amazing vase life! A must have for bouquets. Plants also look spectacular in beds, in borders, and in cottage gardens. Sow seed in early spring when soil can be worked and all hard freezes for your region have passed. Do not cover seed as it requires light to germinate. Just press into soul and water lightly as to not disturb seed. For best germination pre-chilling the seeds for a couple weeks is recommended. The seed can also be started indoors in 3"-4" pots up to 4-6 weeks in advance. Caution in using this method. These plants have a long tap root that does not care for being transplanted. Harden off starts before planting outdoors. Staking is a good idea if using for cut flower production. Plant height 24"-48" Spacing 10"-12" Please let us know i
