Jambu Wax Apple Plant ( Black King Kong ) *Coming Soon!*

Jambu aka Wax Apple is a sweet, crunchy fruit that has a light rose fragrance.  It is a very hydrating, and filling.  They are great to eat alone, or in salads.   Just so refreshing on a hot summer day! This is variety of Jambu is called Black King Kong.  It is an improved Black Pearl variety. King Kong is sweeter, grows faster, is easier to grow, and has more water than the Black Pearl from Taiwan. The fruits will darken with time as they fully ripen.  You can eat the fruit as soon as it turns pink to red, but if you wait for it to turn dark red, it is at its sweetest. The plant you will be receiving is a seedling that's approx. 5-6 inches tall.  It will be shipped in a pot with soil.  The mother tree started baring fruits on the second year after I planted it in the ground.  There will be abundance of fruits as the tree matures.  ♥Growing♥Jambu is a tropical fruit native to South East Asia.  It likes full sun, heat and humidity, but can be cold hardy up to about 35F+ for short period
