The Boba

A client reached out to create a unique pen for a colleague.  A pen that included Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, Purple and Orange.  Of course, my first thought was a rainbow.  So I searched online for them and found quite a few.  But nothing really caught our eyes.  Then I came across some lava lamp pictures (don't ask) and thought that might look cool in a pen.  I looked for a resin mold to make the tiniest of beads.  Upon making the first pen, it took on another look.  Well, it reminded me of Boba Tea.  Then, I thought, boba tea has flavors.  Well a pen can't have a flavor, but why not a scent?  So now I'm experimenting with the idea of giving a purple boba pen a grape scent.  Stay tuned!
