An informative and entertaining history of the old wonderful hotel in Yosemite National Park. Construction began in 1926 and was completed the following year.  Ansel Adams, who was a part-time resident of the park, took some of the photos in this book, which also contains much about the park's history.  Among them is one of Adams in costume (see below).
