Allow me to share the inspiration behind this work. It was initially created for the unwavering spirit of Carolyn Hester, a true warrior who valiantly faced the relentless battle against breast cancer for over a decade. Despite the countless trials she endured during her cancer journey, Carolyn never ceased to grace the world with her extraordinary gift of song. With unwavering determination, she embraced every opportunity to fill the air with melodies that resonated with hope and resilience.   Carolyn was my muse for this creation. Her daughter, my childhood best friend, had the painting framed for her and it adorned Carolyn's sanctuary during her time in hospice. It now finds its home with her beloved daughter, Cheri. Carolyn confided in me that this very creation bestowed upon her an immeasurable strength, a beacon of light that guided her through the darkest moments.
