Navajo jeweler, Lucille Platero, made this Kokopelli pendant and did a lovely job hand-stamping designs on the body. It has a turquoise dot set above his sash belt. Size: 1.5" H x .375" W The image of Kokopelli is on rock art from the Southwest United States into Mexico along ancient trade routes. He is believed to have been a trader, playing his flute and traveling from village to village. He would bring news of what was happening along his route and trade goods from many places. He is associate with fertility due to the festivities that happened when he arrived.
