Silver Locket Necklace with Bird Nest

My handmade locket is textured with prairie ticklegrass on the front and back.  I cut a small window on the front for an observer to peek into the grass to view a nest with one single egg.  There is a clasp that can be worn in the front or back.  Attached to the clasp is a Mother-of-Pearl bird charm.  This is a piece created with both fine (99.9% silver) and sterling silver (92.5% silver).  The chain is approximately  24" in length. I call this piece, “Safe Space”.  It celebrates our prairie ground-nesting birds and their attempt to create a safe space for their offspring.  The thick prairie grass makes a good nest as well as good cover against predators.  This expresses my gratitude to all who create a safe space for others.   This will be shipped with signature required.
