This is a Kumiai branded pen. Kumiai was a smaller Japanese fountain pen manufacturer. While small, it made some of the finest pocket pens with wonderful nibs and strong sense of design. The pens were produced by the same manufacturer that produced Parley and Yotsubisi pens, and often featured luxury finishing techniques like urushi lacquer, maki-e, raden, or Kamakura-Bori. Kumiai is much less common than other pocket pen manufacturers. A fine addition to any collection.
