Darling Daisy Antique Garnet & Gold Ring

A darling daisy ring with seven flat-cut garnets in 12k gold dating to circa 1840. The gems are foiled in closed-back settings, as was common for the era. The ring has a low profile, with spatulate cathedral shoulders and a grooved band. This charmer is As Is; it has a good deal of old lead solder from a 19th-century repair. This ring is as fragile as it is lovely and should be worn with care. Please note that you Do Not want to get foiled closed-back gems wet; it will darken the stones. Details... Currently a size 6.25. The top of the ring measures 13.6mm by 13.9mm, and the band is 2mm wide. In Good Antique Condition; the ring is As Is, it has a good deal of lead solder from a 19th Century repair.
