The Winged Medusa Cameo

This beautifully carved Medusa has a look of resigned sadness on her handsome face. A tangle of ringlets and snakes cover her head and her wings extend from either temple unreachable in her isolated beauty she even has an asp as a necklace. The carving of this shell cameo is of the highest quality is set in a 14k yellow gold frame and dates from the 1930's. Description.....The brooch measures 1.92"x 1.56" it is signed on the back of the cameo, I cannot read it. In very good vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on Vintage and Antique jewels we consider it a part pf their charm.
