Triple Agate Georgian Watch Key Pendant

We may not need watch keys to wind our watches any longer, but we sure are glad they still exist. This late Georgian jewel would have hung on a fancy chain from a dandy's waist coat, alongside an expensive pocket watch. The gold sheeted* key is topped with a trio of collet set agates of different colors. This lovely thing looks great worn as a pendant suspended from your favourite hook and chain assembly. Circa 1830. *Gold was too soft for use in a tool like a winder. Watch keys were made of steel, then covered in a sheet of gold for prettiness. Details.....1.91" long.
