Whimsical Crown Trifari Lantern Brooch

A whimsical Crown Trifari brooch in the form of a lantern on a pole. The gold-tone staff is set with white baguette rhinestone accents. The lantern is an articulated cluster of bright green rhinestones capped in white baguettes. Its movement is quite appealing. Something like a bar pin, this brooch fastens with a secure rollover pin. This fun piece bears the Crown Trifari mark. Circa 1950. Trifari was a highly collectible, high-end costume jewelry manufacturer producing during the 20th Century.
