Emerald Faceted

 Very bright and sparkly brilliant cut round natural emerald from Afghanistan. Although it does not have the deep green Colombian emerald color, I cut this gem from a natural crystal and it is completely untreated…not oiled or color enhanced like all the emeralds that are normally purchased. Besides cutting brilliant facets on the pavilion, I also cut bright facets on the crown and you will notice the top is faceted with a six rayed wheel. Design is called ‘Apex Crown’ and not all rounds are the same as a result. 0.73 carats 6.1 mm round which is perfect for a special emerald ring.
