This golden phenomenon is completely NATURAL!! During the Jurassic period these Ammonites died in the sea. They contained a high quantity of iron which reacted to the sulphur in the water. This formed Iron Pyrite which replaced the Ammonite’s chambers with glittering gold Pyrite. Our specimens also contain extremely rare Rainbow Pyrite within select chambers as well!!
