Jacquard Weave Utility Jacket
In collaboration with &Son and designed by Josh Peskowitz. This jacket is based on a unique utility jacket Josh Peskowitz found in a vintage shop in Japan over a decade ago. The multiple nested pockets and re-enforced seam stitching have made it endlessly useful. In this handwoven jacquard it feels bright and modern again. All buttons are made from ethically sourced, genuine corozo nut. FABRIC | Jacquard Weave CLOTH DESCRIPTION | Jacquard Weave is a double-cloth construction that OMTC makes on their jacquard handlooms using 20s count yarns to securely bind two layers of fabric, carefully avoiding any loose ends. ORIGIN | Made with pure Indian cotton handwoven by OMTC weavers on proprietary handlooms and then cut and stitched in OMTC work rooms in Madras southern India.
