Hand Sewing Workshop - Scrappy Coil Work Trinket Bowl

Saturday, March 28th from 10am-2:30pm Adults/Teens 15+ Skill Level: This class is geared towards beginners but all skill levels are welcomed. Instructor: Celeste   Coil work is a great way to use up fabric scraps leftover from other projects!  In this workshop, you will be taught how to make fabric coils and how to shape them into a trinket bowl or tray. Skills covered will include learning how to do the blanket stitch, the whip stitch, what materials are best for use, how to achieve a basket shape, and how to add embellishments. We will also talk about color and design. All materials will be provided to complete a 6” bowl but you are welcomed to purchase additional materials if you would like a bigger piece.
