"Single stage" rotor unit includes single set of four blades. As the rotating blades pass each opening in the stator, they mechanically shear particles and droplets, and expel material at high velocity in the surrounding mix, creating intense hydraulic shear. Interchangeable stators for Ross High Shear Mixers are available to fine-tune such functions as particle size reduction, de-agglomeration and emulsification.
