Appleton EYS106 Explosion Proof Conduit Seal - New Surplus Description: The Appleton EYS106 is a 4-inch trade size explosionproof conduit seal from the Unilet R brand, designed for use in hazardous locations classified as Class I Div 1 and 2 Group B C D, Class II Div 1 and 2 Group E F G, and Class III. This EYS series sealing fitting features a male-to-female connection type and includes a removable male nipple, making it suitable for sealing vertical conduits, preventing pressure piling within conduit systems, and providing a seal at the boundary where the conduit leaves the classified location. With a turning radius of 3.69 inches, the EYS106 can be mounted in both horizontal and vertical positions. Constructed from durable Grayloy iron with a triple-coat finish consisting of zinc electroplating, chromate, and epoxy powder coating in gray, this UL-approved sealing fitting offers reliable protection for electrical connections in hazardous environments.
