Variegated Agave

We believe this to be an Agave Americana mediopicta alba, aka Variegated Agave, commonly known as a Century Plant. It is a beautiful desert dwelling flowering succulent that produces a tall tree-like stalk with fluffs of bright yellow blooms. It truly resembles an illustration straight out of a Dr. Seuss story! Despite the name, it usually only takes about 10 years for a mature plant to flower and once it does it will die. But don't worry, it's typically grown many pups in the years prior and you'll have plenty of agave to live on! Perfect for xeriscaping and drought tolerant areas. It's definitely a standout in any garden!  You will receive the plant shown in photos. This plant will ship bare root, no pot or soil is included with this item.
