  All leads are hand-made to order and may take 3 weeks to make. If you use expedited shipping it will not change the lead making time. It could be one week and it could be three. The time frame is based on current orders. We are experiencing  huge shipping delays in raw leather. Our leather is 9.5 to 10.55 mm, the thickest in the industry and does not come from every cow. It is very specialized and now due to shipping delays worldwide, the raw material is harder to come by. We make them as fast as we get the leather. This lead is by far the best trailing lead available. There are knock offs, but ours are the original. Ours are also thicker and of higher quality leather. Our long leads average 9.5 mm after being triple stretched and tested for strength. Our family hand braids them at our SC facility and then oil them lightly for you with their first wipe down in Neetsfoot oil before shipping.
